Our Services
Three steps, and no repair starts until you approve the price.
01. Submit a Request
Fill out the service form with your eBike or scooter model and a description of the problem. Add a photo if you can. It helps us tell whether the job can be quoted right away.

If the job is clear, such as a brake bleed or a tire change, we email a quote from our price list. If the cause is unknown, the first step is a paid diagnostic ($50–$100) to find the fault, followed by a repair quote. No repair starts until you approve the price.
03. Schedule Your Service
Once you approve, we set a drop-off time at our Burlingame workshop, where most repairs are done. On-site repair is available only for small jobs such as flat tires and brake adjustments, with a $150 minimum.

EVE MODS is at 1234 El Camino Real, Burlingame, CA 94010. Repairs are done at the workshop by appointment. Riders bring their e-bikes and scooters to us from across the San Francisco Peninsula, from San Francisco to Redwood City.
Most repairs are bench repairs done at our Burlingame workshop. Battery rebuilds, motor and controller repair, and conversions need test equipment and controlled conditions that can't be brought to a driveway. On-site repair is limited to small jobs that can be done properly at your location, such as flat tires and brake adjustments. It has a $150 minimum and depends on availability.
Typical ranges are $50–$120 for tire and tube work, $25–$120+ for brakes, $50–$100 for diagnostics, $80–$350+ for battery service, $120–$450+ for hub motor repair, and $50–$250 for controller replacement. Custom technical work is billed at $105 per hour. The full price list has the rate for each job.
If you know what you need, such as a brake bleed, a tire change, or a controller swap, the quote is free and comes from our price list. If your ride just stopped working and the cause is unknown, nobody can price the repair without finding the fault first. Yes. The Burlingame location is by appointment only, so please call or text before heading over. Drop-off times are set once your request is reviewed.
Either works. Listed prices are for labor. You can bring your own parts, or we can source them for you and list them separately on your quote.
Our labor is covered by a workmanship warranty. Parts purchased through EVE MODS carry their own parts warranty. For parts you supply, the warranty covers correct installation only.
Electric bikes and electric scooters: battery diagnostics, BMS replacement and cell-level rebuilds, hub motor repair, controller replacement, brake service, flat tires and solid tire installation, new e-bike assembly, and conversion kit installation.
Often, yes. Faulty connectors, charging ports, BMS faults, and unbalanced or weak cell groups can usually be repaired. If most cells are degraded, a full rebuild or a replacement pack is the safer choice. A diagnostic tells you which applies before you commit to a repair.
Most tube replacements take 30–45 minutes. Controller replacements usually take 1–2 business days, and full battery rebuilds 1–3 business days, depending on parts availability. Your quote includes a time frame.
